Constable Law hopes everyone is safe from Hurricane Hermine, but we know that following the storm you may have questions about property damage and what to do next.

You may be asking yourself things such as:

Is this covered by my insurance? Should I file a claim? How do I file a claim? Should I just take care of it myself? Should I hire this company that showed up offering to help? Who should I contact first?

We are available to help with questions like these as well as any other questions you may have. Please feel free to contact us to discuss by phone at 727-797-0100 and/or by email at contact@constable-law.com.

Today more rain is coming to the area, so do you understand the difference between a water claim and a flood claim? Did you even know there is a difference? Well there is, and it is very important to understand the difference because many homeowners' policies do not include coverage for flood damage.

If you need help understanding your policy, or need help filing a claim for damage to your property from all this rain, please contact us to discuss. We are here to help. Our phone number is 727-797-0100 or you may reach us by email at contact@constable-law.com.

Assignment of Benefits (AOB) has been a hot button topic for a while. Do you know what signing an AOB means for your claim? Do you know what an AOB means for the repairs being conducted at your property?

With added pressure, especially from insurance companies, to do something about AOBs, legislators are getting involved and this could impact the future of AOBs and your claims. You can read more about the proposed bills as well as some opinions on AOBs here:

If you have questions about AOBs, please contact us at contact@constable-law.com.
